We just got back today around 4 or 5pm from L.A. We had so much fun even though we were only there for 2 nights. We stayed at the Sheraton-nice hotel, but they charged us for the fridge-CRAZY HUH. I needed the fridge to put all my bags of breastmilk. lol. Pumpin' is a bitch when we're on the road. I hate it, but I have to do it for Jordan.

So anyways. We left Friday around 3 or 4pm. We got to our hotel around 9ish. It was nice to just sleep all through the night-no kids to wake us up. hee hee. My mom and my sister were babysitting Jordan for the whole weekend. =) Jiselle went to her dad in the Bay. Saturday, we woke up late, then we walked around a little. Then we went back to the hotel to get ready. I had to make sure I looked ok-I was thinking that we might bump into some celebrities. =) Then we were off...........we got to the Staples Center! Nice arena. It's my favorite arena so far-way better than Oakland's and Arco in Sac fo sho! It looks nice in the daytime and really beautiful at night with all the lights.
So we got there at 4pm and we looked for our seats. NOT BAD at all. We were right above ringside in the corners-we got the Premier seats (100 bucks a seat). We actually see the fighters really good and the losers pass right on front of us and exit right by us. I think we probably saw some celebrities but didn't recognize them. But I know we were breathing the same air as Alyssa Milano and Jason Biggs (the dude from American Pie). Well that's what the announcer said (the one that says the infamous "Let's get ready to rumble!".

The guys would whistle when they'd see the pretty and sexy "round" girls-the ones that walk in the ring and carry the sign of what round is next. Guys are perverts!

A Filipino singer named Desa sang the Phillipines National Anthem.

Well, the place was filled with hella Filipinos and TONS of Mexicans. My goodness. It was a battle between the two nationalities. There were fights in the stands-thank goodness they weren't near us. There was this Mexican guy running up and down the stands with a huge Mexican flag. It was hilarious.

The first fight-Some Filipino fighter names Ray "boom boom" Bautista fought some guy. He knocked his ass out! COOL! After he fought, he sat with his wife a few rows below us.

And then some Filipino guy named Brian Viloria fought some guy..He knocked him out in the first round. It was really exciting. Brian is from Hawaii.

Then when Pacquiao fought...it was even more exciting. I'm sure some people thought I was ghetto since I was cheering like a dude...Hey, what can I say-I'm very proud. =) Pacquiao knocked out Velasquez in the 6th round. Woohoo.

The Morales fight was boring plus he lost to Raheem. Interesting....

There was a total of 6 fights. So ya, the trip and the tickets were all in all.............WORTH IT!

wow...I'm jealous. You got great seats. And you saw some pretty good fights, save for Morales' let-down against Rahim. Too bad, Pacquiao and Morales probably won't have a rematch since the mexicano lost.

I don't know about the first filipino guy, but I've heard Brian Viloria is pretty good.
